Hon. Chidi Nnamdi, the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for the Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, has pledged to restore what he described as the lost glory of the constituency through quality, effective and people-centred representation.

Nnamdi committed while outlining his vision ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying his ambition to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives is driven by the desire to give the people a stronger voice at the National Assembly.

He said he had taken time to listen to the concerns, frustrations and expectations of residents across Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo, noting that the people were simply seeking a representative who would listen to them, speak for them and prioritise their interests.

According to him, the 2027 election is not merely about winning a legislative seat but about accepting the responsibility of serving the people and giving meaningful effect to the mandate entrusted to him.

Nnamdi promised to establish a representation that would remain active beyond election periods, with particular attention to the needs of young people, traders, farmers, artisans, professionals, students and families across the constituency.

“If elected on the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), I will make the people the centre of my representation. I will listen, engage, advocate and pursue opportunities that can bring meaningful development to our constituency,” he said.

The ZLP candidate also pledged to engage relevant government institutions and stakeholders to attract opportunities and developmental interventions to the constituency.

He maintained that the people of Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo deserve a stronger voice at the National Assembly and representation focused on achieving tangible results.

Nnamdi, however, acknowledged that he could not solve every problem overnight, but assured the electorate of his determination, courage and willingness to remain accountable to them.

He described the 2027 election as an opportunity for the people to choose a new direction and urged residents to support his candidacy.

“Together, we can restore the lost glory of our Federal Constituency and build a representation that our people will be proud of,” he said.

Nnamdi declared himself ready to serve, listen and represent the people, while calling on constituents to join what he described as a “rescue mission.”
