2027: Hon. Chidi Nnamdi Urges Obioma–Ngwa Voters to ‘Try Something Different’

The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chidi Nnamdi, has called on voters in the constituency to consider a different approach to representation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued by his Media Team, Nnamdi said the constituency had, over the years, entrusted its representation to individuals who had occupied public office, but argued that the gap between elected representatives and the people remained a concern.

He said the 2027 election presents an opportunity for constituents to examine the records, ideas and capacity of the various candidates before making their choice.

According to the statement, Nnamdi represents a different proposition as a private-sector professional seeking to translate his experience, community engagement and philanthropic activities into public service.

The statement also highlighted what it described as Nnamdi’s previous interventions in the constituency, including assistance to individuals and families with medical expenses as well as support for small businesses and livelihoods.

It, however, acknowledged that private philanthropy alone does not automatically guarantee effective public performance, but argued that such engagements could provide an indication of how a candidate relates to the people before seeking political office.

The statement further said Nnamdi’s continued engagement with constituents had given him an understanding of their aspirations and everyday challenges.

“2027 is an opportunity to examine the candidates, their ideas, their records and their capacity to serve, and to make a deliberate choice for the kind of representation Obioma-Ngwa deserves,” the statement said.

The campaign subsequently urged voters to “try something different” by supporting Nnamdi, the ZLP candidate for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency.
