2027: Chidi Nnamdi Pledges Jobs, Youth Empowerment, Community Development for Constituents

Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chidi Nnamdi, has pledged to prioritise job creation, youth empowerment and community development if elected to the House of Representatives in 2027.

Nnamdi said his agenda would focus on expanding access to skills acquisition, vocational training, entrepreneurship opportunities and federal interventions, while promoting better education, healthcare and infrastructure across the constituency.

His full speech reads; My aspiration to represent the people of Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo in the House of Representatives is anchored on a clear conviction: leadership must translate into opportunities, development and measurable improvements in the lives of the people. My priorities are to advance employment opportunities, promote youth empowerment and strengthen community development through purposeful legislation, strategic partnerships and effective representation. I believe our constituency possesses enormous human and economic potential that can be harnessed to create a more prosperous future for our people.

If elected, I will prioritise initiatives that expand access to vocational training, entrepreneurship support, skills acquisition and economic opportunities for young people, artisans, traders and small-business owners. I will pursue legislative interventions that encourage investment, promote local enterprise and improve access to relevant federal programmes. Equally, I will work towards better educational opportunities, healthcare support and infrastructure development, while engaging relevant government agencies to attract projects and interventions to our communities. My commitment is to ensure that representation goes beyond speeches and ceremonies to deliver practical benefits that people can identify and appreciate.

My promise is one of accessibility, accountability and sustained engagement with the people. I intend to maintain a strong connection with our communities, listen to their concerns and champion their interests with diligence and integrity. I am not offering empty promises; I am presenting a commitment to purposeful service, responsible leadership and tangible progress.
