2027: “This Is Bourdex Hour” – Amobi Ogah Urges Abia North Voters to Back Bourdex
Setting the tone for the 2027 senatorial race, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal lawmaker Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah has made a resounding declaration of support for the Labour Party candidate for Abia North, Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex), urging voters to rally firmly behind his bid.
Hon. Ogah made this passionate endorsement during the official inauguration of his 2027 Re-election Campaign Council in Onuaku, Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Government Area. While charging his newly sworn-in team to ensure a total “4/4” sweep for all Labour Party candidates across the board, the federal lawmaker placed special emphasis on the Abia North senatorial race, describing it as a defining moment for the zone.
Addressing members of his reelection campaign council, stakeholders, and grassroots supporters, Hon. Ogah urged voters in Abia North to look at the remarkable trajectory of good governance under Governor Alex Otti as a template for what Chief Bourdex can achieve at the upper legislative chamber.
Making a compelling comparison with his own political journey, Ogah emphasized the necessity of testing new, capable hands who possess the vision and capacity to deliver effective representation.
“In case you don’t know, this is Bourdex Hour. Let’s give Bourdex a chance so that he can prove himself,” Ogah declared passionately. “If I didn’t get a chance, would you have known that I would do better? If Governor Alex Otti didn’t get a chance, would we have been enjoying what we are enjoying today? Give Bourdex a chance.”
The federal lawmaker expressed profound confidence that Chief Bourdex’s senatorial bid will enjoy massive grassroots backing, predicting that the 2027 general elections will witness an unstoppable political “tsunami” for the Labour Party throughout Abia State.
The inauguration event also featured robust commitments from key party figures, including Isuikwuato LGA Campaign Coordinator Hon. Emmanuel Okorokwo, Isuikwuato Party Chairman Hon. Harrison Onuke, Umunneochi Party Chairman Dr. Jude Uche Onwuhanze, and Deputy Campaign Council Chairman Sir Billy Achara, all of whom vowed to take the message of Hon. Amobi Ogah, Chief Bourdex, and the entire Labour Party ticket door-to-door across the constituency.
The epoch-making gathering was witnessed by several political heavyweights, notably the member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency, Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, and his Umunneochi counterpart, Hon. Mathias Nwankwo Ume.
