ADC Leader Is David Mark; No Court Judgment Can Change That – Kenneth Okonkwo

Kenneth Okonkwo, spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has insisted that David Mark remains the party’s legitimate leader, declaring that no court judgment can change that position.

Okonkwo made the statement on Channels Television’s Programme Morning Brief while reacting to the Federal High Court judgment delivered by Justice Peter Lifu, which reportedly sacked the Mark-led ADC National Working Committee and nullified Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy for the 2027 presidential election.

“Our (ADC) leader is David Mark, and no amount of judgment from Justice Peter Lifu can stop that,” Okonkwo declared.

He also described the ADC rally in Sokoto as a historic movement to rescue Nigerians from what he called the incompetence and corruption of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the massive turnout at the rally unsettled the ruling party, reflecting growing public dissatisfaction with hunger, unemployment and other challenges facing the country.

“The ADC Sokoto rally shook the APC to the bone marrow. It was not just a rally but a historic journey to rescue our people from the incompetence and corruption of the APC, hunger, unemployment,” he said.
