#EndSARS: ABSG Denies Involvement in Nollywood Actor Labista’s Arrest
The Abia State Government has denied any involvement in the arrest of Nollywood actor Emmanuel Ehummadu Totolos popularly known as Labista at the protest ground in Umuahia.
The Abia State Government has denied any involvement in the arrest of Nollywood actor Emmanuel Ehummadu Totolos popularly known as Labista at the protest ground in Umuahia.

Emmanuel was seen at the #endsars protest which happened on the 19th and 20th of October but was arrested by the police.

Speaking with the Commissioner for Information Abia State, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, who stated that the government led by Okezie Ikpeazu has no involvement in the arrest.

In his words, he said ‘how can the government be involved in arresting someone who went out to protest? The government is not involved in his arrest.’
Labista was arrested by police operatives on Tuesday as he was reportedly controlling the traffic situation which was generated by the ongoing #endsars national protest against the brutality, harassment, extortion and killing meted to the young people by the Nigerian Police.
