0MG! Fire Razes Down Shops, Destroys Properties Worth Millions

A fire incident has razed down seven shops at Ufuma junction in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The incident which happened at about 1:20 am on the 6th of December, 2020 destroyed properties worth millions of Naira.

Confirming the incident, the police operatives at Anambra State Police Command visited the scene and sealed it off to prevent looting by hoodlums while frantic efforts were made by local volunteers to put out the fire.

The Police Public Relation Officer, Haruna Mohammed, stated that there were no loss of life and the exact amount of properties destroyed have not been ascertained.

Meanwhile, the case is under investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
