Construction Workers Trapped, Others Injured as Building Collapse in Ikoyi
A yet-to-be-identified number of construction workers are trapped following the collapse of a building in Close 102 Banana Island Ikoyi on Wednesday afternoon.
A yet-to-be-identified number of construction workers are trapped following the collapse of a building in Close 102 Banana Island Ikoyi on Wednesday afternoon.

Reports say many of the workers were also injured while others jumped when the building caved in.
The Spokesperson for the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service, Amodu Shakiri, confirmed the incident.
He said, “We got a call around 3:58 pm. We are currently trying to ascertain the claim that no one was under the rubble.”
A viral video showed when the building caved in.
Meanwhile, the cause of the collapse has not been ascertained as efforts are being made by the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, to rescue victims of the unfortunate incident.
