Abia Polytechnic Unbundles Admission Department, Sets Directive for Applicants
The management of Abia State Polytechnic has directed the Admission department to be unbundled and ordered that screening processes of fresh students should be done at the candidate’s school with the school officers.
The management of Abia State Polytechnic has directed the Admission department to be unbundled and ordered that screening processes of fresh students should be done at the candidate’s school with the school officers.

In a letter signed by the Registrar, Mr C. C. Oriaku on Friday, he disclosed that the directive is in line with global best practices for fresh students and directed the Admission Department to submit all files relating to the students to their various schools while making it clear that the exercise will kick off in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session.


Recall that the Institution said previously issued Statement of Result will cease to be valid by June 1, 2025.
The Registrar Mr C. C. Oriaku disclosed that the Polytechnic will no longer issue a Statement of Result but a Certificate immediately after graduation.
It also made it clear that issuing of Certificates will start on June 1, 2024, and advised graduands to quickly collect their certificate before the expiration date.
