Ogah Congratulates Senator David Umahi on Silverbird Minister of the Year Award
Former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, FCA, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi (CON), the Honourable Minister of Works, Federal Republic of Nigeria, following his recent recognition as the Silverbird Most Outstanding Honorable Minister of the Year.
Former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, FCA, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi (CON), the Honourable Minister of Works, Federal Republic of Nigeria, following his recent recognition as the Silverbird Most Outstanding Honorable Minister of the Year.

In a statement issued on behalf of his family, friends, and supporters, Dr. Ogah lauded Senator Umahi’s exemplary leadership and remarkable contributions to infrastructural development in Nigeria.
“Your Excellency, your track record and tremendous career in engineering have not gone unnoticed,” Dr. Ogah said. “Your expertise in service delivery continues to set you apart and has been key to your outstanding achievements.”

Highlighting Umahi’s dedication to nation-building and community development, Ogah acknowledged the Honorable Minister’s consistent efforts to drive initiatives that uplift humanity, particularly through his service to the Igbo nation. He praised Umahi for his principled leadership, stressing that the Minister has always prioritized competence over loyalty and accountability over political manoeuvring.
“While many politicians often focus on ethnic and tribal interests, you have always stood firm on principles that serve the common good,” Ogah remarked. “Your character and political principles continue to inspire the new generation of leaders.”
The CEO of Masters Energy Group wished Senator Umahi divine blessings and expressed hope that this recognition would serve as a catalyst for even greater accomplishments in the future.
