My dear compatriots, fellow Nigerians at home and in the diaspora,

As the curtain gently falls on the outgoing year and we stand on the threshold of a brand-new one, I extend my warmest season’s greetings to you all. This festive period offers us a moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the gift of life, resilience, and hope that has carried us through another chapter of our national journey.

The year gone by tested our strength as individuals and as a nation. Yet, in the face of challenges, Nigerians once again demonstrated courage, creativity, and an unbreakable spirit. From our cities to our rural communities, from our markets to our classrooms, the Nigerian people have continued to rise, adapt, and press forward with dignity and faith in a better tomorrow.

As we look ahead to the New Year 2026, I am filled with renewed optimism. A new year brings new possibilities opportunities to heal old wounds, rebuild trust, strengthen our unity, and recommit ourselves to the ideals of justice, equity, and shared prosperity. It is my earnest prayer that 2026 will usher in greater peace, improved security, economic growth, and meaningful empowerment for our youth, women, and hardworking citizens across the nation.

Let us remember that the future of Nigeria does not rest in the hands of a few, but in the collective will and actions of us all. When we choose unity over division, integrity over corruption, and service over self-interest, we move our country closer to the greatness we all desire.

During this festive season, I encourage us to show love and compassion to one another, especially to the less privileged among us. Let us rekindle the spirit of togetherness that defines us as Nigerians, regardless of tribe, religion, or political differences. Our diversity remains our strength, and our shared destiny binds us together.

As families and communities gather to celebrate, may joy fill your homes, may hope renew your hearts, and may peace reign in every corner of our land. May the New Year 2026 bring good health, abundant opportunities, and fulfilled aspirations to you and your loved ones.
