Eze Aro Hails Nzuko Aro, Ikeji Aro Committee Over Progress in Community Service

His Eminence, Eze Dr. Eberechukwu Oji, Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom, has commended Nzuko Aro Worldwide and the 2026 Ikeji-Aro Central Planning Committee for their efforts in sustaining progress in community service and raising the profile of the annual Ikeji Aro festival.

Eze Aro gave the commendation while receiving and reviewing advance copies of the 2026 Ikeji-Aro festival brochure presented by the President-General of Nzuko Aro Worldwide, Mazi Dozie Udensi and the Chairman, Publicity and Publications Sub-Committee, Dr. Azubike Okoro who briefed the monarch on the developments surrounding the 2026 Ikeji-Aro celebrations.

The monarch described the annual New Yam Festival as an event that has continued to gain global acclaim among Umu-Aro, guests, and friends of Arochukwu, noting the steady progress recorded in recent years.

He specifically commended the President-General of Nzuko Aro Worldwide, Mazi Dozie Udensi, and the Chairman, Publicity and Publications Committee, Dr. Azubike Okoro, on behalf of the entire team, for their contributions towards sustaining the gains recorded in community service over the past decade.

Eze Aro applauded the hard work, sacrifices, and dedication of those involved in the development of the community and the festival, particularly in recent years.

He prayed that Almighty God and the ancestors of Aro would grant every participant and supporter of the festival special Ikeji blessings, wisdom, and guidance.

The monarch, who expressed satisfaction with the contents of the brochure, displayed it with admiration as he commended the organisers for their efforts.

He said the progress being recorded demonstrates that the wheels of development and community service in Arochukwu were moving forward.
