Kanye West And Drake Feud Over Kanye’s Sampling Song

Yesterday, Kanye West tweeted a screenshot of a text message he received alleging that Drake was looking to clear “Say What’s Real,” a Kanye-sampling song from 2009’s So Far Gone.

Kanye then wrote a series of tweets demanding an apology from Drake, thus reigniting their feud from earlier this year.

In October, Drake claimed, in an interview, that Kanye was the source behind Pusha-T’s information from the diss track “The Story of Adidon.” Pusha later alleged that he learned about Drake’s son from a friend of Noah “40” Shebib.

In his initial series of tweets, Kanye referenced an apparent diss from Drake that leaked earlier this year and Drake’s supposed role in the incident at Pusha-T’s Toronto show.

Shortly after, Kanye tweeted that Drake called, adding, “Mission accomplished.” Hours later, Kanye ramped up again.

He claimed that Drake called him to “threaten” him and further alleged Drake had someone run onstage at Pusha’s show (who Kanye alleged is in “critical condition”).

“Since the pool line he’s been trying to poke at me and fuck with me,” he tweeted, alluding to Drake’s 2016 single “Summer Sixteen.” He went on to call Drake a “bully” who “[picks] on people with mental health issues.”

Kanye also claimed Drake sneak dissed him on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode.” “Trav should have never allowed that,” he wrote.

“We have to be close as a family and never let these people infiltrate just for radio spins,” he said. He then claimed Travis hit him with “threats.”
Today’s developments are just the latest in Drake and Kanye’s history with each other this year.

On September 20, Kanye posted a series of Instagram videos where he criticized Drake for possibly alluding to Kim Kardashian West on “In My Feelings.”
In addition, West called out Drake for an unreleased song that references Kylie and Kendall Jenner—West’s half-sisters-in-law.

Earlier in September, West had publicly apologized to Drake on Twitter. In the tweets, he addressed Drake’s beefs with Pusha-T and Kid Cudi.
