Man Arrested For Disguising As a Female To Commit Crime in Kenya

Police officers arrested a man after being caught dressed in a Muslim woman’s attire. It was found that the 24-year-old suspect, Mutuku Nzambia from Makueni County, Kenya, was exposed by an unnamed person who claimed that they had spotted a suspicious girl in their neighbourhood.

According to a police report, officers on patrol visited the house of Idris Kororo, a Somali man, where they found Mutuku and took him in.

The suspect dressed in a hijab and bra claimed that he was a woman called Farida Chemutai. “The owner of the house escaped when he saw the police. A thorough search was carried out at the station and the suspect was found to be male and not female,” the authorities said.

Mutuku will remain in police custody pending a multi-agency interrogation.
