Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji’s Visit To Sen. Orji kalu, A Move Towards An Enduring Peace In Abia – Uche Aguoru

I have read so many narratives in relation to the recent visit by the speaker of Abia State House of Assembly to the Senate Chief Whip H.E Dr. Orji Uzor kalu’ while some progressive minds with interest in the peace and development of Abia state have applauded the move as an encouragement towards a lasting and enduring peace in the state and also promotion of politics without bitterness, those who never wanted Abia to be peaceful and will always make capital of every event be it political or social to cast Abia and its political leaders in bad image have latched in on the chance to concoct their negative theories so as to condemn the visit.

Even the holy book in Matthew 5:9 said Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. For the interest of all, Right. Hon. Chinedum Orji’ the speaker of the 7th Abia House of Assembly went on a courtesy visit to H.E. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu in his capacity as the head of the legislature in the state and all the statement credited to him in respect of that visit is what a younger brother should tell his elder brother because in life, without peace there will be no progress.

Those who know Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji’ Knows he is a man of peace who pursues peace with every vigour left in him, he is passionately committed to the development of the state and will commit all to achieve it, and he also understands the power of peace and how speedily a peaceful environment can attract development.

If the conspiracy theorists whose major preoccupation is to create crisis are now calling for the resignation of the speaker for visiting the Senate Chief Whip are not out for mischief, they would have also demand for the resignation of Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe and T.A Orji, I am still wondering why they have refused to demand for the recall of Rep. Sam Onuigbo, Hon. Darlington Nwokocha and Uko nkole for embarking on same visit.

Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji had made it clear from onset that his mission in Abia politics is to bring development and peaceful coexistence amongst Abians irrespective of political divide and let me quickly remind Abians that the time for politics is over, this is time for governance and it requires the coming together of all political actors and public office holders irrespective of political lineage to attract development to Abia.
