Youths are indispensable in our overall development, Abia Speaker

Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has described Abia youths as indispensable in the State’s sociopolitical and economic development, saying their contributions to Abia over the years are part of the reasons the State’s profile has risen in education, enterprise, technology, and commerce.

The Speaker said this in a statement made available Wednesday to newsmen in Umuahia on the occasion of International Youth Day which is being marked worldwide today, August 12, 2020.

“We owe our youths a lot for their immense potentials and contributions to the development of our State.

“As a Legislature, I want to assure them that my colleagues in the Assembly and I hold them in very high esteem and we shall continue to make laws that will create enabling environments for them to achieve their full potentials”, he said
