Davido Discusses Wedding Plans with Chioma, Others

On a media chat with Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido revealed why he’s not yet married to his fiance Chioma.

He stated that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, they had to postpone the wedding till next year as this year is already over.

When Ebuka inquired how long they have known each other, Davido said ‘we have known for seven years from when she was in Babcock University. We were just friends but we started dating five years ago.

‘When I knew she was the one was when I knew how selfless she is. Chioma is someone I can leave and go out and nothing will happen. Na me blow am.’

Davido also stated that his fiance Chioma is not a social media freak as he forces her to post something on social media.

‘Chioma can stay up to three weeks without posting anything. I will beg her to at least post something. She’s not that kind of person. I know how I pleaded before she did the assurance video. She doesn’t like that lifestyle and never asked for it so I understand her.’

He also revealed that she handles what the blog says about their relationship, family and life well as she didn’t ask for the fame.
