Following the news shared by Sahara Reporters that the salary of the Nigerian Police Force has been increased, the Police have stated that it was fake news.
This was made known through the official Twitter handle stating that the information was false.
Recall that Sahara Reporters had shared the new salary scheme of the Police following the #endsars protest which called for the end of police brutality, extortion and killings and also pushes for the reform of the police force.
