Ikpeazu Dissolves Market Committee, See New List of Management

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu PhD., has dissolved all market management in the State and constituted a new market management.

This was made known by the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe PhD., on Tuesday disclosed that the new market management will be inaugurated on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at the Conference hall by 11 am.

The statement reveals that the dissolution is effective immediately and directed to hand over all properties belonging to the government.

It reads, “This is to inform the substantive members of the various Market Management Committees and the general public that His Excellency, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD., has approved the dissolution of the Market Management Committees effective Dec 1 2020. Affected persons are by this announcement directed to handover any property or devices related to the running of their offices to the respective CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER of their market.

Furthermore, those newly appointed members of the Market Management Committee are invited to the inauguration ceremonies.”
