Ikpeazu Speaks on Alleged Plan to Leave PDP
The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has quelled the rumour of him leaving the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress.
He disclosed that there’s no reason to leave the party as the PDP will help Abians achieve its aspirations.
Speaking on Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State on Christmas day, Ikpeazu stated that he doesn’t begrudge people who jump political platforms but gave not seen any reason why he should leave the PDP.

Ikpeazu said, “The music of politics differs from one State to the other. I feel that Abians are comfortable with PDP. The aspirations of Abians will be met and achieved under the platform of PDP. Nobody has been able to convince me that there is a better party for me in Abia State. Not until that happens, I am a strong member of the PDP and a leader too and a Deputy Chairman of PDP Governors Forum. I will rather be a conductor in a moving vehicle than a driver on a stationed vehicle.”
