Face of Bayelsa Girl Child: Nengi, Bayelsa Govt. Debunks Replacement Rumour

The Bayelsa state government has debunked the rumour that Big Brother Naija housemate Nengi Hampson was replaced by first class law graduate Miss Ebizi Erabiri.

Reacting to the runout, the Chief Press Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Daniel Alabrah, stated to BBC pidgin that the two girls are to work together to inspire and encourage young girls in the State.

He said; “Nengi is from the entertainment sector and as such she can function perfectly there. While Miss Eradiri will function in the education sector. This is for them to inspire and encourage young women from the state. It is wrong for people to speculate and politicise everything.”

Also debunking the rumour, Nengi took to her Twitter page to congratulate Erabiri and the Governor for finding them worthy for the cause.

She wrote, “Congratulations to Barr. Ebizi Eradiri. It’s amazing how you were able to pull that thru!

Special thanks to my Governor for also finding her worthy for the honour. It is without a doubt that we will both work together to see how we can front for better welfare for the Girl child.”
