Missing Weapon Funds: NSA Clarify Sensational Comment
The office of the National Security Adviser has said that its interview with BBC Hausa was taking out of context.
The office of the National Security Adviser has said that its interview with BBC Hausa was taking out of context.

In an interview earlier today, the NSA revealed that the money allocated for the procurement of weapons to fight insurgency was missing.
It said that the NSA only reiterated that President Muhammadu Buhari has been committed to providing support for the armed forces by releasing funds for a weapon.

The statement also reads that the ‘orders were either inadequate or yet to be delivered and that did not imply that the funds were misappropriated under the former service chiefs.’
