Rev Mrs Precious Ossy Prestige, the wife of the late honourable member representing Aba North/South Federal Constituency, Prestige Chinedu Ossy, has called on all well-meaning Abians and Nigerians to honour the funeral rites of her late husband to jointly bid him farewell. She said this during a press briefing held in late Honorable Prestige Ossy’s house in Aba, Abia State.
A member of the deceased’s family Honorable Chuks Nnanna stated that the family is doing everything possible to make the burial rite programmes hitch-free. He also revealed that they have notified every relevant quarter including Abia State Government.
Below are the burial arrangements:
Thursday, 15th April 2021 at 10.00 am – Valedictory Session in his Honour at House of Representatives, National Assembly, Abuja.
Wednesday, 21st April 2021 at 11 am – Forever Ossy Prestige Procession in Honour of Hon. Prestige Ossy at Aba Environs.
Thursday, 22nd April 2021 at 4.00 pm – Inter-Denominational Service of Songs and Music Concert at Abia Polytechnic Sports Arena, Aba
Friday, 23rd April 2021 at 6.00 pm – Christian Wake Keep at Akahaba Central Stadium, Abiriba
Saturday, 24th April 2021 at 10.00 am – Commendation Service (by the Presbyterian church, Abiriba Urban Parish) at Akahaba Central Stadium, Abiriba. Followed by private interment at his residence, Okagwe, Agbaji, Abiriba.
All Covid-19 protocols will be duly observed.
