Osinbajo Extols Uzodimma on Road Construction
The Vice president of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma Over road construction in the state.

The Vice president of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma Over road construction in the state.
The Vice President, who commissioned the Dig-Tiger Road project consolidated and completed by Uzodimma on Tuesday, said that it demonstrated good governance.
He stressed that the commissioning of the Dig-Tiger Road, PH Road and other infrastructure across Imo state are priorities and would encourage economic development. He reflected that Nigeria, being the largest economy in Africa, “can only provide an opportunity for the citizens if it runs on modern infrastructure “.
He condemned the jail-break, police headquarters attack by unknown gunmen in Imo State on Easter Monday, adding that the ” system should be strengthened in line with security South East.
Earlier, the governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma, mentioned that the shared prosperity government was focused to deliver actual democracy to the people, saying the roads as constructed will encourage economic activities in the state. He thanked Osinbajo and others for coming to Imo.
Commissioner for Works, Ralph Nwosu, stated that the Dig-Tiger drainage system would also channel water from Chukwuma Nwoha Road, MCC Road to Otamiri river to reduce flooding in the Owerri metropolis.
