Baba Ijesha Faces Life Imprisonment Over Sexual Abuse

Following the case of sexual abuse filed against Nollywood actor Mr Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha, he faces life imprisonment for sexually abusing a minor.

A statement published by the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Moyosore Onigbajo SAN, on Tuesday revealed that the imprisonment will depend on the evidence brought forward against him.

The statement also made it clear that the rights of the accused will be upheld while making sure that justice is served.

Baba Ijesha was caught on CCTV sexually abusing a 14-year-old foster child of comedian Princess in her house.

Further interrogation revealed that he also attacked the girl when she was 7-year-old which caused a lot of trauma for the girl.

While some of his colleagues have supported him, others have called for justice for the victim.
