Breaking! Ikpeazu Sacks ASEPA, APUMA Managers
Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) manager for Ikwuano Local Government Area, Mr Jerry Awa and Deputy General Manager, Abia State Public Utilities Management Agency (APUMA) Engr Uzoma Asiegbu.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked the Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) manager for Ikwuano Local Government Area, Mr Jerry Awa and Deputy General Manager, Abia State Public Utilities Management Agency (APUMA) Engr Uzoma Asiegbu.
This was contained in a statement made available by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, on Saturday.
The statement also revealed that the removal was with immediate effect.

Government Special Announcement
The Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate removal from office of the following persons:
- Mr Jerry Awa, Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) manager for Ikwuano LGA
- Engr Uzoma Asiegbu, Deputy General Manager, Abia State Public Utilities Management Agency (APUMA).
Furthermore, the Governor has directed the General Manager of ASEPA, Mr Eze Okwulehie, to immediately take charge of the Ikwuano area, ensure immediate evacuation of refuse within the area as well as engage street sweepers to clear grasses and dispose of dirt along Aba Road through Ceramics area to Old Umuahia.
