Empowerment: Chima Anyaso Foundation Diligently Emulating Governor Ikpeazu’s Human Economic Policies

A hardworking Lady shoemaker at Powerline Shoe Plaza, Ariaria Market Aba, Ms Chinyere Ugonna, a native of Agboakoli, Alayi, in Bende Local Government Area has been empowered with a full set of industrial shoemaking equipment worth over a million naira, by the Chima Anyaso Foundation.

Ms Ugonna, whose tears of joy was uncontrollable, said she was amazed at the gesture, noting that she has never met with Dr. Chima Anyaso before.

According to her, she commented on a Facebook post by one Mr Joseph Ejindu about the various empowerments the foundation had given to people, wishing that she could be one of the beneficiaries of such empowerment so as to advance her shoe making business.

Ms Ugonna who also pointed that the Chairman/Founder of the Anyaso Foundation who was following the post directed her to send a proposal to the Foundation’s state coordinator, Mr. Johnmark Mgbọgburuagu. She added that she had complied as directed, but did not believe it could be fulfilled.

Ms Ugonna said the set of equipment would advance her shoe making business and pledged to empower others, especially women, by teaching them the shoemaking skills.

Another man, Mr Maduka Ọkụ from Uzuakoli, in Bende Local Government Area of the state, was also empowered with a brand new sewing machine.

Handing the equipment to the beneficiaries, the Chairman, Board of trustees of the foundation, Honorable EzeOgo Emeka Ọnụoha JP said the gesture was to compliment the efforts of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in Human capacity development.

Some notable leaders of the community including a one time former transition Committee Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Chief Engineer Linus Owoh Eleke, the President general of Agboakoli Development Union, Honorable Ọnụoha C. Nnanna, as well as the President General Alayi development Union, Chief Uchechukwu Kalu, in their respective remarks, commended The Chima Anyaso Foundation for the gesture and assured of their support.

The Director General of the Chima Anyaso Foundation, Hon Okey Iboko and Comrade JohnMark Mgbọgburuagu led other stakeholders of the foundation to the event.
