Abia Open to Accommodate More Investors – Chief Okiyi

Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, has expressed the government’s readiness to partner with investors to grow the economy of the State.

He made the statement in his office today while addressing leaders and members of the Lokpanta Cattle Market Association.

Okiyi charged them to remain law abiding citizens and continue to maintain peace in the market, adding that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has put in place measures to safeguard lives and properties of investors.

The Chairman of the Lokpanta Cattle Market Association, Alhaji Dani, in his remarks, assured the Commissioner of their unalloyed support, pledging to work harmoniously for the progress of the market and state at large.

The meeting had in attendance the Permanent Secretary, Chief Sir Micheal Egwu, Directors and Heads of Department of the Ministry.
