Tragic! UCTH Doctor Commits Suicide

A resident medical doctor identified as Dr Crystal Akpan working at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) has committed suicide.

It was gathered that the late young doctor who worked in the Cardiology Department of the hospital who was married with three kids, took a poisonous substance suspected to be a sniper.

However, the reason for his action is still unknown but the unconfirmed report has it that Dr Akpan may have taken his life after failing his professional examination for residents, which he had written for some years without success.
