A swift intervention by bystanders averted tragedy earlier today after a young woman attempted to end her life along the Waterside area of Okpulumobo in Aba.
Eyewitnesses report that the woman was seen exhibiting distressing behavior before approaching the water, prompting concerned passersby to rush to her aid. Their timely response prevented what could have been a fatal outcome.
Although full details surrounding the incident are still unfolding but the woman is reportedly receiving care following the incident.
