Abia Govt to Distribute Bags of Rice to 17 LGAs

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, PhD is set to distribute bags of rice to each ward in the seventeen (17) local government areas of the State.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem on Wednesday directed all ‘Council Chairmen to proceed with their Party Chairman, woman and Youth leader to the office of the Wife of the Governor and collect 10 bags of rice for each ward of their LGA.’

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the distribution of bags of rice to various wards in the 17 Local Government Areas of the State.

To this end, all Council Chairmen of the 17 LGAs in the state are directed to proceed with their Party Chairman, woman and Youth leader to the office of the Wife of the Governor and collect 10 bags of rice for each ward of their LGA.

All Council Chairmen should ensure compliance and treat with sense of urgency.
