Shops Razed Down by Fire in Abia State University

At least, sixty-six shops were razed by a fire in Abia State University, Uturu in the early hours of Tuesday, 4th January 2022.

It was gathered that the fire which razed part of the Royal revival hostel and other buildings down happened at Upgate.

Eyewitness reports that the fire started at 1 am and spread through the entire market. The Abia State Fire Service were nowhere to be found despite the raging inferno.
