Air Peace to Begin Evacuation of Nigerians from Ukraine
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama has said that Air Peace will begin the evacuation of Nigerians from Ukraine over the invasion of Russia.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama has said that Air Peace will begin the evacuation of Nigerians from Ukraine over the invasion of Russia.

Speaking on Monday during a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Mr Onyeama revealed that the evacuation will begin on Wednesday 2nd March 2022.
Onyeama said the evacuation will be done following the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ukraine and Russia have been at war following the invasion of the latter last week which has thrown the whole country and its neighbours into war.
On Monday morning, talks between Ukraine and Russia began near the Belarus border.
Russian forces have pressed into Ukraine from the north, east and south since the start of the invasion that was launched last week.
