Kidnapper Caught While Trying to Run-Off with Children

A kidnapper and a ritualist have been caught while trying to run off with the children of a woman who came to drop her kids at Mind Builders School inside Omole Estate Phase 1 Ikeja, Lagos State on Friday.

It was gathered that the woman alighted from her car to go round and open the door for her kids.

The kidnapper quickly jumped into the car, locked it and wanted to drive off with the kids but fortunately, the woman had already turned off the car and alighted with her car keys.

The woman quickly raised the alarm and the security arrested the kidnapper who confessed that he was not alone in the scheme.

During interrogation, the kidnapper further stated that he came from Ibadan to perpetuate the act. He also revealed that he has been kidnapping children which are in turn killed and used for rituals.

In a video recording, he also said that they are two who operate on the axis, while the other one escaped, he was caught. When they kidnap, they will take the kidnapped children to a ritualist in Ibadan.
