Accomplice Lynched as Soldiers Arrest Suspected Bandits
A female identified as Hajiya Bilkisu, a suspected accomplice of a kidnapping gang has been lynched by members of the Mariri community in the Lere local government area in Kaduna State.
A female identified as Hajiya Bilkisu, a suspected accomplice of a kidnapping gang has been lynched by members of the Mariri community in the Lere local government area in Kaduna State.

Bilkisu was lynched for housing seven suspected bandits identified as Musa Adamu, Abdullahi Usman, Suleiman Hasidu, Usman Jibril, Saidu Isah, Hassan Abdulhamid and Idris Sani when she tried to escape.
According to the report, the arrests were the result of sustained intelligence gathering by the troops of Operation Safe Haven.
Subsequently, the Kaduna State Government urged security agencies to ensure a thorough investigation of the suspects while appealing to citizens to avoid all forms of jungle justice and to give security agencies the needed cooperation to work in line with the dictates of the law.
