Post-Election: Sanwo-Olu Reverts BRT Fares to 100%
The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA, has reverted to a 100% transport fare rate on all Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, buses in the State.
The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA, has reverted to a 100% transport fare rate on all Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, buses in the State.

Before the general election, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had slashed the rate to 50% on February 8 following the cash crunch in the country.
According to a memo to the public, the prices will return to normal from the 1st of April 2023 following the Supreme Court pronouncements on the use of the old naira notes.
