Aftobeat Singer Seun Kuti Granted Bail
Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has been granted bail after meeting the conditions set by the court which specified that it should be met within 48 hours.
Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has been granted bail after meeting the conditions set by the court which specified that it should be met within 48 hours.

This was according to his lawyer, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika SAN, as well as the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin who spoke to Channels Television who stated that the case will be handed over to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions upon completion of investigation.
Mr Kuti was arrested after he turned himself in on Monday and was arraigned on Tuesday but failed to secure an ex parte order to detain the singer for 21 days.
The singer spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State after an order of his arrest was given by the Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba for assaulting a police officer.
