FCT Police Raid Black Spot, Arrest 307 Persons

Three hundred and seven persons have been arrested by the Operatives of the Nigeria Police in FCT after it raided a black spot, Gidan Dambe in the Dei-Dei-Zuba axis in Abuja on Monday.

This was made known in a press release made available by Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, Anipr, who stated that the suspects were arrested tactical team of the command led by the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh psc, mni, at 11:30 pm on Sunday.

According to the statement, one English Pistol with fifteen (15) rounds of 9mm ammunition was recovered from one Ibrahim Tukur who claimed to be a DSS personnel.

Other exhibits such as Motorcycles, wraps of marijuana, illicit substances, and valuables reasonably suspected to have been stolen from innocent residents were equally recovered.

The suspects are currently undergoing screening.
