Ten passengers have been killed while forty eight persons were injured in a crash involving a DAF trailer on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway on Monday.

This was made known on Tuesday by Jonas Agwu, the spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). He attributed the accident to excessive speed, overloading, and fatigue.
According to NAN, the driver lost control of the wheels and crashed into a ditch at about 10:30hrs with all the 172 male passengers aboard the trailer.
