Former Abia Speaker Chinedum Orji Resigns from PDP

The immediate former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji has resigned from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of the Urban Ward 1, Umuahia North Local government area of the State on Monday, he stated that the decision was taken after extensive consultation.

The letter reads, “NOTICE OF RESIGNATION FROM PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY

This is to formally notify you of my resignation from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with effect from today.

Kindly note that this decision is taken after extensive consultations.

I thank the Party for giving me the platform which culminated in my being the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly.

Kindly accept my warmest regards.
