Portable Regains Freedom after Meeting Bail Conditions

Controversial musician Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, has been released after meeting his bail conditions.

He was arrested on Tuesday by the Lagos State Police Command following complaints by a car dealership of N14 million debt.
Portable had purchased a G-Wagon worth N27 million in January, paying only N13 million upfront and refusing to pay the remaining balance, claiming the car was faulty.

The car dealer had provided photos of Portable signing the undertaking for the vehicle, contradicting his claims.
Portable, immediately sighting the police took to his heels and tried to jump a fence but was arrested amid resisting and kicking.
