Suicide Bomber Wore Fake Explosives, Demanded N100m
New information has revealed that the alleged suicide Bomber who was caught on Monday at thw United Bank of Africa, Dadin Kowa, Jos South in Plateau State has revealed that the suspect was wearing a fake explosive.
New information has revealed that the alleged suicide Bomber who was caught on Monday at thw United Bank of Africa, Dadin Kowa, Jos South in Plateau State has revealed that the suspect was wearing a fake explosive.

The suspect simply identified as Michael walked into the bank, joined the queue and at his turn, wrote a note on the bank’s teller that he was wearing explosives and needed a N100m or he would detonate the bomb.
The bank staff calmly assured him that the money was being prepared while he communicated to the management.
Security was alerted and on arrival, fired a shot which scared the suspect. He ran out and showed off the explosives which was strapped to his body.

The security and passers-by withdrew but immediately surrounded and chased him. At that point, it was discovered that it was a fake explosive, it was plastics joined by sellotape.
During interrogation, he revealed that he’s from Edo State and arrived in Jos, last year. A raid of his room at Staff College revealed a machete, plastics, sellotape and other items.
Meanwhile, Michael has refused to write a statement and has given four different names. He stated that he was 17 years old.
