Otti Reassures Military Heads of Govt Readiness to Bring Killers of Soldiers to Book
The Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti had reassured the military high commands of the preparedness of the State Government to bring to book the perpetrators of the killers of five slain soldiers in Obikabia Junction in Aba on thw 30th of May, 2024.

He made this known when he visited the wives and children of the slain soldiers on the 1st of June, 2024 at 144 Battalion Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area of the State.
Governor Otti who was welcomed by Brigadier General O. O. Diya, Commander of the 14 Brigade Ohafia, Nigerian Army observed a minute silence for the departed soldiers and stated vehemently that the perpetrators must be brought to book.






“It’s very unfortunate to be going through what you are going through. The government will continue to condemn this dastardly act. We want to reassure the military high command and the leadership in Abia that we are working together to bring the perpetrators to book.
“As a government, we have placed a N25 Million Bounty on the heads of these terrorists and anybody who will provide information that will ensure the apprehension of these terrorists.”
Dr Otti who was accompanied by government officials also gave packages to the widows and promised to keep in touch with them.
