LG Poll: IPAC Chairman Uluocha Commends Governor Otti Over Non-Interference with ABSIEC Operations
The Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Hon. Uluocha Chimex has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti for not interfering with the operations and activities of the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) regarding the conduct of the November 2nd 2024 Local Government election.
The Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Hon. Uluocha Chimex has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti for not interfering with the operations and activities of the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) regarding the conduct of the November 2nd 2024 Local Government election.
The IPAC boss in a statement made available to journalists in Umuahia on Saturday, encouraged all the Participating Political Parties to establish campaign councils across the Local Government Areas to enable them to inform the people of their plans if given the opportunity.
“I congratulate all successful candidates whose names were published by ABSIEC. I urge you all to focus on issue-based campaigns as you about Wards.”

To ensure seamless coordination, I encourage all political parties to establish campaign councils across Local Government Areas.
“IPAC will address any deviations from objective campaign standards, I commend ABSIEC’s efforts and confidence in delivering free and fair elections”
“I also appreciate Governor Alex Otti’s non-interference, granting ABSIEC full independence, Political parties should refrain from activities that may cause chaos” he stated.
