Paul Okoye, one-half of the music duo Psquare, has accused his twin brother Peter of attempting to imprison their elder brother, Jude “Engees” Okoye. He claims that both twins share guilt in the matter.

“I’m out here to support him because I know the truth. Now the truth is that the way journalists are writing and calling him a fraud is not how it is. Let’s call a spade, a spade.
Peter is the one trying to send our brother, Jude, to prison, and I’m here to bring him out. I’m not denying that Peter is not my brother but the same crime that Jude is being accused of, Paul and Peter are guilty too.”
Jude Okoye is currently being held at a correctional facility due to fraud allegations brought against him by Peter.

The charges read: “That you, Jude Okoye Chigozie, and Northside Music Ltd, sometime in 2022 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, did directly acquire a landed property known as No. 5, Tony Eromosele Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, worth ₦850,000,000.00 (eight hundred and fifty million nairas) only, which money you knew or reasonably ought to have known forms part of the proceeds of unlawful acts, thereby committing an offence contrary to Section 18 (2)(d) and punishable under Section 18 (3) of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.”
On Friday, Paul announced that he intends to stand as surety for his brother at the Federal High Court in Okoli, Lagos State. Justice Alexander Owoeye also directed him to submit his documents and set March 3 for bail ruling, with the trial scheduled for April 14.
