Women in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, have taken to the streets in protest over the sexual assault allegedly by Fulani Herdsmen in the village.

In a viral video on Tuesday, the narrator complained of how the villagers are going hungry over the inability to access their farmlands due to the presence of Fulani Herdsmen who not only assaulted them but dehumanised them through their atrocious acts.

“Our women are being raped by Fulani herdsmen, our husbands don’t go to farm again, our sons don’t go to farm again when the women go to the farm, they will be beaten by the Fulani herdsmen, rape and also put stick inside their vaginas.”
A victim revealed that she and her husband were kidnapped by the Herdsmen and charged two million Naira for their release.
They called on the Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah to come to their aid as they could no longer feed themselves and wade off the intruders.
