Abia PDP Lawmaker Joins Labour Party
In a significant political development, Hon. Ugochukwu Collins, the representative for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has formally switched allegiance from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labour Party (LP).

The move was officially communicated through a letter submitted to the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, and was read aloud during today’s legislative plenary on Wednesday.
This defection follows a similar shift by Hon. Lucky Johnson, the lawmaker for Isukwuato State Constituency, who also left the PDP for the Labour Party earlier.
