EFCC Declares Wanted Foreign Accomplices to CBEX Scam
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has declared wanted foreign accomplices linked to the devastating Crypto Exchange (CBEX) Scam.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has declared wanted foreign accomplices linked to the devastating Crypto Exchange (CBEX) Scam.
The online trading platform crashed in April 2025, being the worst digital financial fraud ever perpetrated with an estimate of N1.3 billion.
The suspects include; Johnson Okiroh Otieno, Israel Mbaluka, Joseph Michiro Kabera and Serah Michiro.

In a statement, the Commission advised anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts to contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices or through 08093322644; its e-mail address: info@efcc.gov.ng or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies.
