Former ALGON Chairman Ibe Nwoke Joins Labour Party
Hon. Ibe Michael Nwoke, the former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area has officially joined the Labour Party (LP).
Hon. Ibe Michael Nwoke, the former Chairman of Obingwa Local Government Area has officially joined the Labour Party (LP).

The former Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON received his membership card in a well-attended ceremony at Alaukwu Ohanze Ward 7, Obingwa Local Government Area.
The event was marked by enthusiasm and solidarity from party faithful, as LP Ward 7 Chairman, Mr. Ubani Nwokeoma, welcomed Hon. Nwoke into the party. He praised the former chairman of Obingwa LGA as a “development-minded leader” with a commendable record of public service.




“Hon. Nwoke is a man of vision, action, and integrity,” Nwokeoma stated. “The Labour Party in Obingwa is fortunate to welcome someone of his calibre. We are fully behind him in his mission to uplift the Obioma Ngwa Federal Constituency.”
In his remarks, Hon. Nwoke reaffirmed his alignment with the vision of the Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti particularly in advancing rural development initiatives.
He emphasised that his move to the Labour Party reflects his desire to work more closely with grassroots stakeholders and deliver impactful governance.
