BREAKING: Pastor Abandons Wife for ‘Spiritual Daughter’

A major scandal has rocked the Kingdom of Heaven – Wealth Reality Church in Delta State, following revelations that its founder, Pastor Ikechukwu Kenneth Agbaka, has abandoned his legally married wife, Mora, and married his “spiritual daughter,” Brenda Uruemuesiri Idiegbe, without a legal divorce, an act that constitutes bigamy under Nigerian law.

The embattled cleric, whose church is on Edejor Street near Winners Junction, Jakpa Road, claimed he was obeying a “divine instruction” when he informed his wife that God had shown him she was no longer his rightful partner.

According to Mora, the couple married in 2019 and lived together until 2022 when the pastor asked her to temporarily return to her parents’ home so he could “seek God’s face in prayer.” However, during her absence, she was stunned to receive a call from her husband declaring that God had revealed Brenda, his spiritual protégé based abroad, as his true wife.

From Spiritual Mentorship to Marital Takeover

Brenda, who had been under Pastor Ikechukwu’s spiritual mentorship, was allegedly guided by him in personal and financial matters, including property developments in Nigeria. During the crisis, she reportedly maintained close contact with Mora, praying with her and offering hope for reconciliation, while secretly plotting to assume her role.

Suspicions reached a boiling point when Mora visited the church unannounced and found Brenda occupying the symbolic seat of “Mummy G.O.” Further investigation revealed explicit WhatsApp conversations between the pastor and Brenda, confirming their romantic involvement and clandestine visits to the marital home for intimate encounters.

Illegal Marriage & Court Battle

Despite interventions from family and church elders, Pastor Ikechukwu married Brenda at the Sapele Local Government Marriage Registry on January 18, 2023, without legally divorcing Mora or refunding her bride price. The couple has since welcomed a baby girl.

Legal experts note that the pastor’s actions amount to bigamy, a criminal offence under Nigerian law. Mora has taken the matter to court, but Pastor Ikechukwu has reportedly refused to appear or provide justification for his actions.

As the case unfolds, public outrage continues to mount, with many calling for justice for the ousted “Mummy G.O.” and accountability within the church.
